What changed, and why.

crew update gets you the latest. A running server keeps its version until you restart it.

6.4.0October 3, 2026latest

Every dev server row on a session's page now has a logs button. It opens the server's log in a window with a tab per server, follows it every two seconds, marks error lines in red and leaves you alone when you scroll up to read. It works for remote sessions too, and there's a button to restart the dev servers from there.

6.3.0October 3, 2026

You can hand a session files now. Paste a screenshot, drop a log anywhere on the session's page, or use the paperclip, in Voice OS and in Set up's chat. Each file shows as a chip above the box, and the next words that reach that session take them along, typed or spoken, even if you say them from another screen ("Sent to checkout with 2 files."). Claude gets each one as a path and opens it with Read, so any file up to 20 MB works. Sessions on a remote machine get the bytes sent over first, and an upload cut by a dropped link picks up after the reconnect.

6.2.0October 3, 2026

Voice OS got redesigned. Home shows your sessions with whatever waits on you first, and an Answer button right there. Each machine gets a card and its own page, with its plain sessions and its worktrees by workspace. The old "+" is a New menu, there's a proper New session dialog that remembers the folders you've used, and Settings is laid out like a page you'd actually want to read, including a Voice section to turn voice on and off.

6.1.0October 3, 2026

A lot landed in this one. The part you'll notice first is that Voice OS feels like someone is there. When you say something that goes to the router, you get a quick "Okay" or "Got it" while it thinks. The follow-ups ("Sent to checkout", "Switching to store-front") are worded for the moment by Haiku, and while the session on screen works for a long stretch, you hear a short line about what it's doing now and then. If you lose track, "status update" gets you a spoken recap: what waits on you, what got done, what's still running. Speak to a busy session and it says "Okay, after its current work. Send it now?", and a yes sends your words right away.

6.0.0October 2, 2026major

crew moves to the browser. Run bare crew and it starts crew's server and opens its page, or prints the link when you're over SSH. The page opens on Home, where you pick Voice OS or Set up. Set up does everything the configuration TUIs used to do (projects, workspaces, worktrees, bindings, machines, settings, import and export) and every form shows the crew command it runs. There's a Setup with Claude chat in there too, and a first run that walks you from picking projects to a working workspace. Voice OS got a restyle to match, with a docked top bar, tabs for your active sessions and a layout that works on a phone.

Earlier
5.9.1Docs only. 5.9.0Pinned is gone, and active sessions take its place. 5.8.1crew voice discord setup at a terminal asked for the token first and only showed the steps after you pasted nothing. 5.8.0You can talk to Voice OS from your phone now, through Discord. 5.7.1Sessions in Voice OS now get Claude's Artifact tools, the same as Claude Code in a terminal, and a doc made with them shows up as a card even when the reply doesn't paste the link. 5.7.0I stopped Voice OS from guessing. 5.6.0Mostly fixes from my own debug notes. 5.5.0When another session needs you, a permission or a question or a plan, it no longer barges in on its own. 5.4.0Debugging Voice OS used to mean grepping a 100 MB log and running jq over the debug notes, with no way to see another machine's log at all. 5.3.05.2.0 broke switching in a way I hit straight away: "go into crew" or "can you check out crew?" got sent to the session on screen as words for it, and "can you stop?" got refused as a listening command. 5.2.0The big change here is how Voice OS handles talking to sessions that aren't on screen. 5.1.0This one adds dictation, a fourth listening mode for when you want to think out loud. 5.0.1A small one. 5.0.0Voice OS: talk to your coding agents. 4.x and beforeOn GitHub's releases page.
